I like this project a lot. It was so challenging to me. All artworks were done by hand. My duty was to construct and design a symbol that shows the ability to conceive of a creative concept without the support of any type. There were two versions: black, white, and colour. I also had to design a direction sign that is related to the theme and it would be rendered in one colour only that is different from the main symbol colour. On the final piece, the black and white version had to be done in black marker and drawn directly onto the board. The colour versions of the symbol and the direction sign had to be done in flat colour papers and posted directly on the smooth board, with the size 16”x20”. Passionate with this project, I continued to challenge myself by drawing and carving this symbol on the watermelon after that.
